Love for me

Is when someone who is not related to me,

Care for me like I'm his or her own flesh and blood,

Teaches me with not even a single complain,

I love my dedicated teachers :) 

Love for me

Is when small children who knew nothing about the world,

Grasp my finger like they're never going to let it go,

Or smile to me sincerely that it erases all my heartaches,

I love my cute little nephew and niece :) 

Love for me 

Is when the people who used to play with me when I was small,

Stayed the same even we're far apart,

And when we talked, it could last for hours,

I love my pretty cousins :) 

Love for me 

Is when we gather every week,

Recite the al-Quran together,

And talk about Islam,

I love my dearest akhwat :) 

Love for me

Is when they lend me their shoulders to cry on,

Lend their ears to listen to my bad singing,

And laugh with me over super duper lame jokes,

I love my awesome friends :) 

Love for me 

Is when we fight over petty things,

Be jealous of one another,

And yet they are still the most reliable people,

I love my crazy siblings :) 

Love for me

Is when she stayed up all night when I had nightmares,

Call me every day to make sure I'm okay,

And listen to me whenever I pour out my stories,

I love my amazing ummi :) 

The greatest love for me

Is when I read the letters He gave me,

I feel calm,

When I tell Him problems,

He gives me solutions,

When I make a wish,

He grants it or give me better things,

When I make mistakes,

He forgives,

When I do good,

He rewards me, 

And when I need Him,

He is always, always there :)
