Talk is CHEAP

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim (:

Ohhh, susahnya hati nak tulis pasal benda ni. Tapi takpe laa, tulis jugak. Jom sama2 kita muhasabah diri, okies ?

Jadi tak payah la Amal nak sambung tulis lagi. Eh ? Tapi takpe, sebab Amal rajin, Amal nak sambung tulis. So anda kena sambung baca, THANKS ! ^_^v

Semenjak dua menjak ni, hidup amal 'agak' adventurous. Ceh. Bukan la panjat gunung terjun bangunan segala bagai, adventurous in the sense that I've got to see things I haven't seen before, learns thing I've never known, hear stories I've never laid my ears upon.

No lah. Kalau Amal kategorikan myself sebagai dai'e, maksudnya Amal pun tengah cakap diri Amal lemah. Yes, sebab tu Amal cakap jom kita muhasabah sama2, kan ? Jom.

First and foremost, Amal banyaaaaak sangat nampak golongan2 yang menyampaikan ini, tarbiyah diri sendirinya, ENTAH KE MANA. Sorry to say kawan2, tapi bila kita nak sampaikan pada orang, kita kena la make sure diri kita pun terisi jugak, ye dak ? Air longkang kah ? o.o TAPI. Here's the thing, bila kita nak tuang tuu, kita tak perlu tunggu gelas kita penuh kan ?

Mungkin Amal sendiri pun kadang2 macam tu jugak. Again I say, kita sama2 muhasabah. Tak terurus di sini Amal maksudkan; kelas selalu ponteng, baju tak berbasuh tak berlipat, lantai bilik tak pernah sapu, pinggan mangkuk tak pernah cuci, study terabai. You dare to call yourself a Caliph ? Erk. Get your own things sorted out first, then only you sort out the others.

Last but definitely not least, maksud ayat yang Amal share di atas. Bagi mereka yang hanya PANDAI BERCAKAP. Yang CAKAP BERAPI, BUAT TIDAK. Amal jumpa banyak sangat orang macam ni. Banyak sangat. Apa Allah cakap ? Dia BENCI golongan macam ni. B-E-N-C-I !

Astaghfirullah.

Sahabat2 sekalian. Amal cakap ni, sebab Amal sayang. Kita cakap berkobar, semangat, orang lain tak semangat macam kita, tak sekobar kita. Jangan anggap diri kita lebih BAIK just because KITA PANDAI BERCAKAP. Nope. Allah Maha Tahu, tahu ? :)

As the title says, TALK IS CHEAP. Kalau Amal pun buat je benda2 haram jadah yang Amal tulis kat blog selekeh ni, TOLONG, I beg you, TOLONG lah tegur. Kadang2 kita manusia terlupa. Fitrah manusia itu pelupa.

I am, indeed, a very outspoken person. And when people ask me what's my strength or weakness, I'll regard being outspoken as a weakness. Seriously. Sometimes you may say something that will hurt others. Sometimes you may say something that is not even true. Sometimes you may EXAGGERATE things, making situations worse. Just because you're OUTSPOKEN. So at times, I prefer to keep quite and just listen. Because I don't want to make things worse by the things I say.

Think before you speak out. Analyse. Investigate. LISTEN. You may see things from one view, but it's not necessarily RIGHT.

Ingat surah as-Saff, ayat 2-3. Ingat.

Wallahua'lam.

All these little things

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim (:

2 Muharram 1434H

At first I was about to write this post just for the sake of updating. Then I realised that some of the experiences I had for the past few days were just too valuable not to be shared. Hence I renewed my intention. It's not only for the sake of updating. I hope it can touch some hearts.

I was back from an international programme few weeks back. In the midst of finishing the reports, settling the accounts, juggling with the newly registered subjects (it's the starting of a new sem); I almost break down. Then I decided. All I need is a getaway. TO GET AWAY. So last Tuesday I packed all my stuffs, went to a trip not far from my campus, spent my night there.

It was random, unplanned, and yes, one of the best decision that I made so far (: Back from the one-night-trip, I felt more calm, alhamdulillah. It was not about the place, it was not about the comfy beds; but it was because I got to spend the night with Him. Away from everyone. Just me and Him. Oh why ?

Hope that explains (:

Then yesterday a friend of mine invited me to join them in a trip to Banting, to help the flood victims. Without hesitating, I said yes. Despite the unfinished tutorials. Despite the undone reports. Despite the lack of time to study. I said yes.

It was my first time visiting flood victims. We went there just to entertain them. Alhamdulillah, we managed to conduct some simple games and give away some hampers to make them smile (: I was touched when one of the kid said this while they were playing musical chairs; "Alaa, takpe laa tak menang pun. Nanti dapat hamper kita kongsi la ramai2."

That was just too cute (:

Then we visited the families that were placed inside the classrooms. They were separated according to genders. And they have been there for more than 10 days. Yup, TEN DAYS. They were given mattresses and slept and lived and played and spent their 10 days inside that school. They may be smiling and laughing, but I could tell from their faces that they missed the place called HOME.

What I have learned from all these little things

Ala bizikrillahi tatma'innul qulub. Verily in the rememberance of Allah, do hearts find rest. Ar-Ra'd, verse 28. We may have all the money in the world, all the comfort we can ever imagine, but only when we remember our Creator, He will set our heart at rest

Erti hidup pada memberi. Now I fully comprehend the phrase used by saifulislam. I felt a satisfaction no word can describe when I helped the flood victims. From now on, try to live not for yourself, but for others. Live to help others. Live to go to Jannah, with others. Then you would find that life is more meaningful. I felt like SUPERMAN :D

I would do anything to repeat all the things happened to me this week, again

Thank you Allah !

Wallahua'lam.
